(3 Pyramid Necklace two tone, 3 Finger Pyramid Ring in white brass, 14k gold plated, and bronze, Oxidized Spearhead Cluster Necklace Spearhead Ring bronze)
The rawness, and beauty of Lillian Crowe’s newest collection, “The Silk Road” immediately drew me in. Completely obsessing over the Pyramid, and Spearhead pieces , for they can be worn as statement pieces in any spring wardrobe this spring. Lillian uniquely gathers her materials by reclaiming them from former jewelry production factories. This separates, and adds a unique one of a kind value to each piece of her work. Anatomica, and 100 % Reclaimed are two more of Lillian Crowe’s must see collections. You can currently buy her collection here.
“Quai De La Tournelle”
A few weeks ago I attended the Catherine Malandrino show during NYFW. The presentation was a vision of Parisian chic. The Silhouettes in color palettes of emerald green, royal blue, ruby red, and deep purple were shown. Models stood with jackets made of wools, furs and leathers, Chiffon blouses, fishnet embroidered dresses, pleated skirts and basket weave heels. Stunning wearable necklaces were shown with pearls, crystals, and enamels. To set off the evening looks over-sized totes in python, and bejeweled pouches were also presented. How much do you just love this presentation? I personally fell in love with the entire collection, and I just can’t wait to purchase one of Catherine’s mink coats, and some of her stunning necklaces for next fall!
I recently started jewelry design classes in NYC. A growing fascination with metal forms, and the process in which it melts at extremely high temperatures. I came across Darcy Miro. You may already know her for her sculptures, I though have become very drawn to her wearable pieces. My favorite being the armored cuffs pictured above, which or are just a few of her unique works of art. Be sure to check out more of pieces here.
So I am starting my NYFW shows adventures with Pamela Love. Sadly we waited foreverrr to enter, and it was so packed we didn’t get in. I was so bummed. What I love about fashion week this year is how most of the shows I attended were presentations. I definitly perfer this over runway shows because you actually can get right up to the models and really see the detail , and craftsmanship that the designer puts into the collection. It’s rather exciting! The only issue with presentations is when it is so packed you can’t get in! So I managed to get these photos from the lucky ducks who did get into the show via Acne/ OC website.
So clearly I was even more sad when I saw how amazing Pamela’s collection was. The designer recently won 25,000 from the Ecco Domani Foundation! Inspired by Indian and African tribes of the nineteenth century, the designer brought her favorite color turquoise into the mix this season. Presenting geometric, chunky pieces/ pendents, rose and yellow gold three finger spike rings, and studded cuffs! I’m clearly obsessed with this collection! Pamela love nailed this collection, and I’m sure we can all agree that we just can’t wait to see more from her!

I recently spotted Marc Alary jewelry while reading Nylon Magazine. The collection “Menagerie”, includes amazing cut outs of animals. I happen to obsess over the mechanical monkey necklace, but also adore this trio of animals necklace & panther cut out ring. If you are lucky you can find some of these hot animal pieces sold at Colette & Liberty, but to no surprise most of the collection is currently sold out. So stop by Marc Alary’s website soon for his newest product listing in New York City.
I recently stumbled upon La Dama! I am so glad I did because it such an amazing site. La Dama is run by fashion addict Leticia Wiley. The website carries a variety of jewelry from a range of designers inspired from vintage, street fashion ,and unique photography. The photographs above are my favorite pieces of jewelry currently sold on her website. Also, be sure to check out Leticia Wiley’s blog for new and exciting pieces carried at La Dama.
